How does Sofwave work?
The depth for treating wrinkles is 1.5mm in the mid-dermis. Our unique, Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB technology generates heat at this exact depth in the mid-dermis. Another unique feature is our SofCool technology. Each transducer is individually cooled and in direct contact with the epidermis during treatment. How long does a Sofwave treatment take?
A Sofwave treatment takes approximately 1.5 hours including numbing. Keep in mind, that you will be able to return to normal activity without any downtime.
How many treatments are needed?
Typically, the treatment protocol calls for 1-2 treatments, depending on the patient’s skin condition.

What does Sofwave treatment feel like?
Patients may feel a warm sensation on their skin as the ultrasound energy is delivered, which can be resolved by applying a topical anesthetic cream just before the treatment. Following treatment, there are no sensations, and there is no need to apply special care to the skin. Patients may resume their daily activities quickly post-treatment.
Who is a good candidate for Sofwave?
A good candidate for Sofwave™ is typically, those in their 30s and older who have mild to moderate skin aging. The potential patient should have some degree of fine lines and wrinkles.
How long does a Sofwave treatment take?
A full face and neck treatment takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
